Votum's intelligence briefs are generated using third-party artificial intelligence services. When you request an intelligence brief for a state, a request containing only publicly available political data (state name, polling averages, electoral information) is sent to one or more of the following AI providers:
No personal information about you is included in these requests. The AI providers process the political data request and return analysis. These requests are subject to each provider's API data handling policies.
AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only. It reflects analysis generated by AI models and may contain inaccuracies. It does not constitute professional political, legal, or financial advice.
Votum displays political news headlines sourced from publicly available RSS feeds of established news organizations. Headlines may be analyzed by the AI providers listed above to generate credibility and framing scores. This analysis involves only the public headline text — no user data.
Our hosting providers (Netlify, Expo) may automatically log standard technical information such as IP addresses and request timestamps for security and operational purposes. This data is not used to identify or profile users and is subject to the providers' respective privacy policies.
Votum is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
